Welcome to the 2020-2021 High School Baseball season. We strive to provide the most qualified umpires to each school for every contest, regardless of level. In order to do that, we will help deliver the training and education necessary to enable our umpires reach the next level. We will mentor our younger umpires with
the aim of them becoming the next state championship umpire.

There are not a lot of new rules this season. The
HYBRID pitching position and proper
slides are very important this year. Click

Positions to see pitching positions. We must be united in our handling of these two points. Please make sure we signal obstruction even if no award is
necessary.
- Uniforms MUST be worn properly
- The plate meeting must be attended by the head coach
- Record the name of the game manager.
- Jewelry is NOT permitted (only medical or religious and it must be taped to the body)

It is is imperative that you attend as many of the clinics provided by us as well as Georgia High School. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the COA rule committee for any clarification of a rule or point of interest.
